Staff at MCCH
Mercy and Caring Children's Home provides employment for Kenyans.
- Manager - who is responsible for the over all ministry at the centre.
- Social Worker - is onsite daily and cares for the children's overall development. This person works with the government District Children's Office identifying children who need help.
- Matrons - who care for the day to day needs of the children
- Cook - preparing 3 nutritious meals a day for the children
- Farm Hands - at MCCH we have a small working farm that grows food for the children. Fresh milk by the on-site cows, bananas, kale, avocados, corn (maize), and persimmons are some of the crops that are grown at MCCH. The older children help with farm chores, giving them experience and skills.
- Guards - Guards are onsite 24/7.
- Teachers - On-site is Mercy and Caring Academy. This private Christian school has grades pre-primary to grade 6. Approximately 60 children from the community also attend this school.
We are thankful for the dedication of our staff to the welfare of the children
